![]() Schobber's R 828 special machine with offline rotary punching, reel-to-form, cut and reel-to-reel Creed Engineers, the official agents for Schober GmbH converting equipments in India, would be showcasing the latest modules for manufacturing tea tags along with rotary tooling and offline converting equipment. ``At the India Flexo Show, we would be showcasing these modules, available in web widths of 8 to 20 inches and capable of making tags in `AIMA` or `Constanta` designs,`` says Ranesh Bajaj, Creed Engineers. These modules offer high running speeds of up to 200 meters per minute. ``The module offers a replaceable tool bit system with an excellent quality of punching. Also the use of replaceable bits allows the tools to be used for long. The replacement cost of bits is also very low,`` adds Bajaj. Schober offers stamping, punching, cutting and perforating, welding, sealing, cutting with ultra sonic, collating, grooving, scoring, embossing, dispensing and gluing operations which find its applications in forms, labels, packaging and hygiene-products. During the show Schober`s complete range of label die-cutting rules will be on display at the Creed Engineers stand. ``Schober`s Topduroflex is getting bigger in the market after having made its Japanese competitors run for their money. This range of rules has made a new name in the label industry by performing under extremely demanding conditions of cutting self-adhesive plastics, clear material as well as in flat bed dies. The Topduroflex with its hardened & ground edges and flexible body of 0.45mm and 0.50 mm thickness is a boon. It is a `must check out` model,`` claims Bajaj. Schober will also be exhibiting its range of `segmented tooling` used in high speed rotary presses for cutting, creasing and embossing of board material specially for the cigarette and the liquor carton industry. ``The machinery is already been used by the major `cigarette case` making factories in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and other parts of Asia. This tooling is suitable for the Bobst Lemanique, similar rotary flexo presses and gravure presses,`` says Bajaj. The star attraction will of course be the operator friendly Rotatek`s Ecoflex narrow web UV flexographic printing machine. The Ecoflex UV - 330 model that will be displayed here has a web width of 350mm and can print and convert a wide range of materials, from very thin films to thick cartons. The removable cassettes are interchangeable and thus saving on washing while interchanging colours. Its tool-less press has the possibility of fitting hot air dryers. This new UV flexographic machine comes from the same stable, which produces RK-200, one the most well known continuous printing presses in the market today. There are more than 600 RK-200 installed world over. The machine makers are proud of the superior ink train and the stronger printing cassettes in their every new modular design units. In Addition to the printing equipment from Rotatek SA, and the converting equipment from Schober on display will be photopolymer plates from Asahi. This will make the Creed Engineers Pvt. Ltd. stand at the India Flexo show a one stop solution for the requirements of the discerning Indian converter. For more details, contact rbajaj@creedengineers.com
