Slowly & surely Beepasha has started creeping back on to the center stage in the industry. The sequel to the 2003 show is now being scripted and will see the industry’s most popular protagonist return with a triple whammy. This time around, added to the converting and flexo is a show on the corrugated industry in this edition. Recently, BeePasha was seen back in action at the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai at the India Pack Show. Here, she was seen enchanting the visitors and beckoning them to participate in the India Converting Show 2005. The India Converting Show Stand at India Pack was busy all the four days of the exhibition with hundreds of visitors stopping by to collect the information about the upcoming event. “The 2005 Show has garnered lot of interest among the Indian converters. We expect the show to be bigger and better than the earlier event. This time, we also have a corrugated show besides the flexo show to complement the event.” Says Anil Arora, of Print-Packaging.com (P) Ltd, the organizers of the show. The shows are receiving tremendous support from the industry. The first core group meeting had seen the industry bigwig giving the thumbs up to the event on the 16th July 2004 at the Golden Swan Club, Vile Parle(E) Mumbai-400 075. The Federation of Corrugated Box Manufacturers of India ( FCBM), Paper Film and Foil Association of India (PFFCA), All India Flat Tape Manufacturers Association (aiftma), The Asian Corrugated Case Association(ACCA)and the Adhesive Tape Manufacturers Association (ATMA) have already extended the support to the events. With around fifty of the leading companies having already signed up for the show, the core of the exhibitors is in place. The companies include leading players like SICPA, Esko Graphics, Windmoller& Holscher, Kurz, Dupont, CAC, Expert Industries, Print & Paper Graphic Sales, Label Planet, Acme Machinery, Graphic Technologies and Nataraj Industries. Many more are expected to join in the coming months. As BeePasha readies the concoction to enchant the industry with its triple magic, the day to day happening will be featured at the event web site at www.indiaconvertingshow.com. The show will be held between 7–10 October at Bombay Exhibition Centre at Goregaon, Mumbai. The venue will be air-conditioned especially for the occasion.
